DCEFT Meetings and Events
Meetings are held on a quarterly basis. They provide opportunities for EFT therapists to grow in their understanding of EFT, network with other professionals, and develop a learning community of trained EFT therapists. Quarterly meetings promote community building by:

For information about supervision opportunities, please contact a certified EFT supervisor. Lists of EFT supervisors can be found at the International Centre for Excellence in EFT or at the Colorado Center for EFT.

Bringing EFT to Uganda: A conversation with Sherrie A. Stevens

Sherrie is a practicing EFT therapist in Colorado Springs who recently traveled to Uganda to train community healers and leaders in Emotionally Focused Therapy with a team from Conexa. Pam Semmler will be talking with Sherrie about her experience, why she chose to go on the trip to Uganda, and how listeners can get involved with Conexa's mission.

About Sherrie and Pam:
Sherrie A. Stevens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located in Colorado Springs, CO and is dedicated to working with adults and couples. She has resided in the Colorado Springs community for 30 plus years. Sherrie has completed an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Colorado and completed a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Her experience as a Social Worker has included work within schools, private practice, and community settings. She is the owner of “A Bridge Over Troubled Water, PLLC” and draws from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is a Certified EMDR Therapist and is working towards certification for EFT.
Pam Semmler, LPC, CAS is a Certified EFT therapist and Supervisor. She has been practicing psychotherapy in the Denver area for 22 years, serving a diverse population of clients with a variety of presenting issues. Pam’s clinical experience began at the Colorado AIDS Project where she served for just over eight years. She provided psychotherapy to clients and clinical supervision to the staff and interns. She currently provides EFT Supervision as well as EFT Couples therapy in her private practice. Pam has conducted trainings in various areas of therapy including Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Ethics, and Working with Addictions from an Attachment Lens. She graduated with a MA in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. When she is not counseling, she enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and new puppy.
